PURPOSE OF THE UNITED METHODIST WOMEN

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through JESUS CHRIST; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Cookbooks Available

Members of the United Methodist Women have the healthy recipe cookbooks available. The book which has a beautiful cover contains MANY recipes and is a bargain at $10.00 each. They will make great gifts and contains some recipes from local Trinity folks. If you are interested in buying one, please contact Judy Raines for more details.

February 6, 2012-UMW Easter Egg Project Begins

Thanks to each of you for all you do to further the mission work of the United Methodist Women.

WV Annual Conference UMW

Trinity and the Southern District hosted the Annual Meeting for the West Virginia Conference United Methodist Women on October 22 and 23, 2010. The official count was 222 but we know that there were several more than that in attendance on Friday evening. As is usually the case the Trinity Family out did themselves. The program went beautifully smooth and everyone had a wonderful time renewing acquaintances and making new friends.

The Trinity United Methodist Women would appreciate your help in collecting these labels. The proceeds are used to support different projects. You may bring your labels to the church.
