PURPOSE OF THE UNITED METHODIST WOMEN

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through JESUS CHRIST; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Cookbooks Available

Members of the United Methodist Women have the healthy recipe cookbooks available. The book which has a beautiful cover contains MANY recipes and is a bargain at $10.00 each. They will make great gifts and contains some recipes from local Trinity folks. If you are interested in buying one, please contact Judy Raines for more details.

CALL TO PRAYER

The Call to Prayer program was held on April 25, 2010. A light salad luncheon and dessert was held prior to the program in the fellowship hall. If you would like to see pictures taken during the program please click on the Church Events Calendar in the left hand column of the web page and go to April 25, 2010, then click on Call to Prayer. You will then be able to view the photos.

U.M.W. EASTER EGG

The United Methodist Women have completed the making of Easter Eggs. The Easter Egg Sale has provided much needed funding for the UMW's mission-giving here at home and around the world. We have always been able to count on everyone supporting this project with proceeds going towards mission projects.

Kids Count

Thanks to everyone for supporting the bake sale on Sunday, May 16, 2010 for Kids Count. We raised $125.00.

CAMPBELL'S LABELS AND BOXTOPS FOR EDUCATION:

The Trinity United Methodist Women would appreciate your help in collecting these labels. The proceeds are used to support different projects. You may bring your labels to the church.
