Please remember Helen Bailey and her family in your prayers this week. Helen's brother, Ken Hurst, died on Sunday, August 29. A service to celebrate the life of Ken will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens road in Princeton. Friends may call today (Tuesday) from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Please remember Peggy Belcher and her family as they mourn the loss of Glenna Poe.
Please remember Chris Patton's father, Raymond, in your prayers this week. Mr. Patton will be having a heart catherization at Roanoke later this week.
Also, remember Bill and Shirley Crockett's daughter, Margaret. Margaret is on a transplant waiting list at Johns Hopkins. Currently, Margaret is at home.
From Susan & Steve Rector: Please pray for two of our nephews: A.J. was recently injured in a work-related accident and is still having residual headaches that are quite debilitating at times. His younger brother, Nic, was injured in a car wreck on Wednesday afternoon. Nic has multiple bruises and contusions along with a partially separated shoulder. Nic was released from the hospital but is being monitored carefully for the next few days in case the bruising causes more serious issues.
We have received a prayer request for Randy Maxey, a student at Bluefield Middle School, who is currently in a Roanoke hospital. Please remember Randy and his family at this time.
Sydney Pelts is now back in school at VT, but continue to keep her in prayer.
Please be in prayer for Mattie Rose Wall, infant daughter of Jason and Holly Wall. She was born with multiple birth defects. Mattie's grandmother is one our Weight Watchers' leaders.

Betty Ruth Moore called with a prayer request for a 15 y/o boy, Brian Clarkson, in Cary, NC. He had been lifting weights and collapsed. His left leg is paralyzed as of right now and he is having problems with his kidneys.
Kay Humes called with a prayer request for one of her friend's father, Paul Potter, he is having kidney problems.
Mitzi Turner's mom is out of the hospital after her gallbladder surgery but she has to go to Richmond to have a stone removed that is still blocking the ducts.
From Tyler Crowe: Macey Whittaker, baby daughter of Emilie and Garret Whittaker, passed away in the afternoon of 8/13/2010. She was only 12 weeks old. Please keep all of their family in your thoughts and prayer.
